Islamabad – The Centaurus, under the leadership of its CEO Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan and President Sardar Rashid Ilyas Khan, hosted a distinguished farewell dinner in honor of the outgoing ambassadors of Azerbaijan, Khazar Farhadov, and Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Kistafin.
Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi, along with a large number of diplomats, as well as prominent members of the civil society and business fraternity, attended the farewell dinner, adding prestige and significance to the occasion.
In his remarks, Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan who is also Prime Minister Coordinator on Tourism, lauded the efforts of Ambassador Farhadov and Ambassador Kistafin, highlighting their pivotal role in strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and their respective countries. He noted that over the past five years, both ambassadors had worked tirelessly to enhance cooperation in trade, culture, and diplomacy, leaving behind a legacy of friendship and collaboration.
Ambassador Khazar Farhadov, in his farewell speech, expressed deep gratitude to the Sardar family and the people of Pakistan. He reflected on his years in Islamabad, recalling the warmth and hospitality he experienced, and emphasized the progress made in expanding Azerbaijan–Pakistan ties.
Similarly, Ambassador Yerzhan Kistafin thanked the Centaurus leadership for their support and recounted memorable moments of his diplomatic journey in Pakistan. He underscored Kazakhstan’s achievements in building stronger partnerships with Pakistan, particularly in economic and cultural exchanges.
