ISLAMABAD, MAY 18 /DNA/ – A vibrant and colorful exhibition titled “Pop Revolution – Colors, Culture & Creativity” was organized by the Niftysphere Institute at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), Islamabad, showcasing the creative talent of young artists from different disciplines.
The exhibition featured impressive works from the departments of Textile Design, Graphic Design, Photography, and Interior Design. The event attracted a large number of art lovers, diplomats, students, and personalities from different walks of life.
Prominent social figure Zahra Wadud Fatemi attended the event as the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, she highly appreciated the creativity and hard work of the young artists. She lauded their artistic vision and encouraged them to continue pursuing their passion with dedication and confidence. She said such platforms are essential for promoting creativity and providing exposure to emerging talent in Pakistan.
The exhibition was attended by envoys and representatives from Denmark, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia, reflecting the international interest in Pakistan’s growing art and design sector.
Director General PNCA Ayub Jamali, Editor Daily Islamabad Post Ansar Mahmood Bhatti, Honorary Consul of Ghana Umer Shahid Butt, and many other distinguished guests also attended the event and appreciated the innovative display of artwork.
Organizer Usman Shah briefed the guests about the objectives of the exhibition. He said the purpose of “Pop Revolution” was to encourage young artists and provide them with a platform to showcase their talent and creative ideas. He added that art has the power to connect cultures and inspire positive social change.
The exhibition displayed a blend of modern pop-art themes, cultural expressions, photography, and contemporary interior concepts, which received immense appreciation from visitors. The colorful arrangements and creative atmosphere at the venue added to the charm of the event.
