ISLAMABAD, Oct 13 (DNA):President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday expressed deep concern over the incident of the Rahman Baba Express derailment that took place near Multan, causing deaths and injuries.
The president, in a statement, expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the families of the passengers who lost their lives in the accident and conveyed best wishes for the swift recovery of the injured passengers.
He directed the relevant authorities to ensure the provision of assistance and all possible facilities to the affected passengers.
The president also called for a transparent investigations to determine the causes of the accident.
