ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Cho Hyun on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The two sides reviewed bilateral relations and exchanged views on ways to further strengthen cooperation, particularly in trade, investment, and economic relations. DPM/FM emphasized the importance of greater business-to-business engagement to unlock new opportunities.
The Korean Foreign Minister appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting dialogue and diplomacy in addressing regional issues.
The two Foreign Ministers also underscored the importance of the multilateral system and reaffirmed their commitment to working together at the UN and other multilateral fora on issues of mutual interest.
