ISLAMABAD, Sep 01: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday commended the security forces for eliminating 21 terrorists in different operations in Chaghi and Pishin districts of Balochistan.
The minister lauded the professional capabilities of the security forces for successfully conducting operations against terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij.
Naqvi also paid tribute to six brave sons of the soil, including Customs officials, who embraced martyrdom while thwarting a terrorist attack on the Customs House.
“The martyrs sacrificed their lives to foil the attack on the Customs House,” he said, adding that their supreme sacrifices reflected the nation’s unwavering resolve to eliminate terrorism.
He said the security forces remained determined to ensure peace and stability in Balochistan and lauded their personnel for successfully frustrating the nefarious designs of terrorists.
“I salute the brave sons of the security forces for foiling the nefarious designs of the terrorists,” Naqvi said.
He stressed that complete elimination of terrorists and their facilitators was the demand of the entire nation.
The interior minister said the nation stood shoulder to shoulder with the security forces in the fight against terrorism and would continue to support efforts aimed at eliminating the menace from the country.
