WASHINGTON, Apr 30 Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Rizwan Saeed Sheikh on Thursday met with Chairman of the US House Foreign Affairs Committee Brian Mast to discuss matters of mutual interest and regional peace.
“Delighted to meet Rep. Brian Mast, Chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee. Thanked him for his acknowledgment of Pakistan’s key role in facilitating peace in the Middle East and beyond,” the ambassador wrote on his X timeline.
The two sides held a broad and constructive exchange of views on the regional and global situation.
During the discussion, Pakistan reiterated its commitment to promoting dialogue and continuing to play a positive role in the resolution of conflicts.
Furthermore, the two sides discussed possibilities and a roadmap to further strengthen the Pakistan-US partnership, which holds historical and consequential importance in the emerging global landscape, and explored ways to enhance bilateral cooperation.
