MINSK, Apr 1: A delegation from the State Forensic Examination Committee of Belarus, led by Chairman Aleksei Volkov, is on a working visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, BelTA learned from the committee.
The visit follows up on agreements reached during interagency cooperation with the Ministry of Public Security of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. As part of the official meetings, the delegation visited the forensic department of the main police office of Quang Ninh Province.
The delegation members got familiar with the organization of forensic expert activities in Vietnam at the regional level, advanced developments in the field of law enforcement, the digitalization of ongoing processes, and the modernization of the material and technical base.
The parties also discussed matters related to the work of territorial expert units, which will lay the groundwork for expanding the geography of Belarusian-Vietnamese cooperation in the future.
