SARGODHA, OCT 03 (APP/DNA): On the special directives of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, a solemn ceremony was held in Mianwali to honor the unparalleled sacrifices of police martyrs.
Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sargodha Region, Muhammad Shahzad Asif Khan, and District Police Officer (DPO) Mianwali, Captain (R) Rai Muhammad Ajmal, distributed residential plots among the legal heirs of the fallen officers.
This noble initiative aimed to support the families of the following martyrs:Constable Muhammad Hanif (Shaheed),
Constable Sher Muhammad (Shaheed),ASI Muhammad Amir Khan (Shaheed), ASI Sher Samand (Shaheed), Constable Manzoor Ahmed (Shaheed), Constable Hafeezullah (Shaheed), Inspector Tariq Ijaz (Shaheed),
Inspector Muhammad Ramzan Sadrana (Shaheed), Constable Atta Muhammad (Shaheed), Driver Constable Muhammad Ramzan Khan (Shaheed).
The plots were allotted in various reputable housing societies including Quaid City, Faisal Villas, Indus City, Mohammadi Town, Spring City, and Madina Town. All allotments were made in the names of the legal heirs, ensuring rightful ownership.
Speaking on the occasion, RPO Muhammad Shahzad Asif Khan stated that the initiative is not only a gesture of gratitude for the martyrs’ eternal sacrifices but also a practical step to provide relief and security to their families. He added that such efforts send a strong and reassuring message to the loved ones of the fallen — that their sacrifices will never be forgotten.
The event was attended by District and Sessions Judge Syed Asghar Ali, Deputy Commissioner Mianwali Asad Abbas Magsi, and several other senior officers. Dignitaries present expressed solidarity with the families of the martyrs and paid heartfelt tributes to their bravery and dedication.
