ATTOCK 9th Sep– In the underprivileged tehsil Jand of district Attock, a talented student of class three, Lareeb, from Government Girls Primary School Bazewali, secured first position in calligraphy at the Rahmatul-lil-Alameen week competitions held at tehsil Jand, district Attock, and Rawalpindi Division. With this achievement, she brought pride to her school, area, and the Attock Education Department.
Lareeb, who belongs to Mari village—a place still deprived of basic necessities of modern life—said her success is due to the guidance and efforts of Headmistress Saima Talib of Government Boys Primary School Dhoke Bazewali. Madam Saima not only provided her with knowledge but also instilled in her confidence, hard work, and courage. Through her tireless dedication and mentorship, Lareeb achieved first position in calligraphy, first at tehsil level, then district level, and finally at the Rawalpindi Division competition.
Headmistress Saima Talib stated that this achievement is not just the victory of one child, but the fulfillment of a village’s dream and a shining chapter of history. She added that this success reflects the sincere efforts behind it and proves that if a teacher truly wishes, they can nurture hidden talents in their students and elevate them to the heights of success. Victories come to those who not only dream but also have the courage to turn dreams into reality.
This success was also made possible through the support and encouragement of CEO Education Authority Attock Dr. Muhammad Azhar, District Education Officer Syed Taqi Abbas, Deputy District Education Officer Malik Muhammad Asif, and Assistant Education Officer (Markaz Saghri, Tehsil Jand) Abdul Salam.
Upon returning from Rawalpindi after receiving the award, Madam Saima Talib was given a grand welcome in the village. Flower petals were showered upon her, and garlands were placed around her neck, filling the village atmosphere with fragrance. Children held flowers in their hands, elders’ hearts were brimming with pride, and every face was glowing with happiness as voices echoed: “Our village daughter has made us proud!”
The headmistress was honored with floral garlands, love, and respect. Lareeb’s parents hosted a reception in her honor to express their gratitude. That day became a historic moment for Mari village. These scenes highlighted the reality that a teacher’s hard work does not just change the destiny of a single student, but adorns the forehead of the entire society with a crown of pride.
At the school, teachers and students gave a warm welcome to their shining star. Sweets were distributed among the children, and Lareeb cut a cake with her teachers. Without a doubt, under excellent leadership in such a short time, the school has already established a remarkable reputation. May Allah grant further success and may this spirit of dedication continue to grow.
