ISLAMABAD, APR 19: The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), in collaboration with the Pakistan Cultural Forum, hosted a commemorative event on April 19, 2025, to honour the death anniversary of Allama Iqbal, the visionary poet, philosopher, and national thinker.
Held at the PNCA Auditorium, the day-long programme (9 A.M. to 4 P.M.) brought together students from across Islamabad in a reflective celebration of Iqbal’s enduring legacy. The event featured speeches from the students along with soulful recitation of Iqbal’s poetry. All things considered, the students simply tried their best to give a powerful tribute to the poet’s timeless messages of unity, self, and cultural pride.
The performances received applause from the audience, with many praising the emotional depth and artistic quality of the tribute. “I just felt Iqbal’s words come alive on stage. Unforgettable,” shared one visitor.
“Such cultural gatherings are essential for reconnecting with our roots. A truly inspiring event. Well done PNCA.” said another guest.
Throughout the event, refreshments were served, giving participants an opportunity to converse about Iqbal’s works in a laidback setting.
The Pakistan National Council of the Arts expresses its gratitude to the Pakistan Cultural Forum for their valuable collaboration and to all the students whose presence made this tribute meaningful. PNCA remains dedicated to preserving and celebrating the cultural soul of Pakistan through such events..
