ICCI acting president signs condolence book at Azerbaijan embassy after fatal crash

ISLAMABAD: DEC 27 /DNA/ – A delegation from the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) visited the Azerbaijan Embassy to extend condolences over the tragic crash of an Azerbaijani airliner that claimed numerous lives.

During the meeting with Azerbaijan’s Ambassador, Khazar Farhadov, ICCI Acting President Nasir Mehmood Chaudhry expressed profound sorrow and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls. He also prayed for strength for the grieving families and a swift recovery for the injured. He emphasized Pakistan’s solidarity with Azerbaijan, highlighting the strong fraternal ties between the two nations, grounded in shared religious and cultural values.

In addition, the acting President wrote in the condolence book: “On behalf of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, I express deepest condolences to the people and government of Azerbaijan over the tragic plane crash. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims. May Allah grant them strength and solace in this difficult time. We stand in solidarity with Azerbaijan and share their grief.”

Ambassador Farhadov expressed his deep gratitude for the gesture, calling the visit a symbol of true friendship and solidarity during a difficult time.

The meeting underscored the enduring fraternal ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, with both nations offering mutual support in times of joy and sorrow.
