RAWALPINDI, AUG 06 (DNA) — Imposition of section 144 has been further extended till August 12 by the Rawalpindi district administration. According to district administration there will be a complete ban on meetings, processions, rallies and gatherings across the city.
There will be a ban on the use of loudspeakers except to Azan, district administration announces. A ban was also imposed on the display and use of weapons across the city, district administration further announces.
District administration declared that section 144 will not apply to sensitive institutions, police officers, women and children. However, violation of section 144 will be prosecuted, district admin further declared. — DNA
