ATTOCK : State Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Sardar Saleem Haidar has said that he was aware of the problems being faced by the people living in far flung areas of Attock district and efforts would be made to bring these areas at par with the developed one .
He said this while addressing a gathering in village Girdi( almost 125 km away from district headquarters ) where a large number of notables announced to join PPP which include Afsar Iqbal , Maqbool Ahmad , Ghaus Shah , Yaseen Khan , Sardar Iqbal Khattak , Sufi Sher Afzal Khan and others .
Saleem Haidar said , PPP has deep roots in public and its leadership knows how to solve the problems of the people at grass root level . He said if elected in the next general elections will make out of the way efforts for the development of this neglected area . Saleem Haidar that the doors of his office and house are always open for public as he was on this seat because of the public and said that all promises he made would be fulfilled . The Minister also condemned the 9th May incidents and said that those responsible be brought to justice and said that all the nation is behind the defence forces and the nefarious designs of our enemies will never succeed and said that we are enjoying freedom because of our defence forces . He also paid rich tributes to the martyrs who sacrificed their life for our better tomorrow .. Candidate for provincial Assembly Malik Asghar Khan also addressed the gathering .He thanked all those who joined PPP .Earlier Sardar Iqbal Khattak and Sufi Sher Afzal Khan in their welcome address thanked the Minister for visiting village Girdi and apprised him about the problems being faced by the residents .
