ISLAMABAD, FEB 15 (DNA) — Pakistan’s High Commission in India has issued visas to 114 Hindu devotees for visiting the holy sites in Chakwal and Katas Raj temple. According to the spokesman for the high commission in New Delhi, Hindu devotees will visit the holy sites between February 16 and February 22.
He said that every year, a large number of Hindu and Sikh devotees from India visited their places of worship in Pakistan. “And the issuance of visas to Hindu devotees is in line with the government of Pakistan’s policy to facilitate people belonging to different faiths to see their holy sites and perform religious rituals there,” he added. — DNA
