ATTOCK (JAN-31) – In compliance with the directives of the newly joined Inspector General Punjab Police Dr. Usman Anwar, Attock Police booked 12 outlaws involved in drugs pushing gambling with in the jurisdiction of police stations Attock Khud, Pindigheb, Hazro, Rangoo and Injra during an active crackdown launched against anti-state elements here on Tuesday.Police said, Attock Khurd Police arrested two drugs peddlers identified as Banyamin of Tehra , Umer Khan resident of District Khyber on charge of possessing   hashish of 2200 grams and Ahmed Saeed of District Qasur along with recovery of hashish of 1740 grams from his possession. Meanwhile, Pindigheb Police intercepted three criminals named  Ghulam Ansar for 1150 grams hashish ,Wali Ullah for hashish of 1200 grams, Waseem Gul for hashish of 300 grams. Such as, Rangoo police arrested Saeed Ahmed of Waisa for 600 grams hashish, while Hazro Police taken into custody Waseem Abbas for 540 grams hashish, and Munir Hussain for possessing 660 grams hashish of fine quality. Likewise, Injra Police nabbed three gamblers include Rizwan Khan, Masud Khan, Iftikhar Uddin along with money at stake of Rs.47980 from their possession. Later on, cases were registered against all these outlaws and further investigation are underway till filing of this story.
