–IK says ‘preparations completed for Punjab CM’s trust vote’

LAHORE, JAN 10 (DNA) — Amid the ongoing uncertainty in Punjab’s power echelon, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership on Tuesday discussed the party’s “final” plan to dissolve the Punjab Assembly and Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Ealhi’s vote of confidence matter in a bid to force the incumbent government for announcing snap elections.

Deposed premier Imran Khan presided over the party’s top brass meeting at his Zaman Park residence in Lahore to discuss the country’s political situation and assemblies’ dissolution issue in which Former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Asad Umar, Azam Swati, Fawad Chaudhry and other party leaders participated.

In the meeting, PTI chief Imran Khan was briefed about the performance of the party in the assembly, and 21 bills passed by the treasury benches yesterday in Punjab Assembly. On this, Imran Khan appreciated the performance of the PTI’s Punjab Parliamentary Party.

The divisional coordinators presented a report regarding the preparations for the Punjab CM’s trust vote and informed the central leadership pertaining to their contacts with the concerned Members of the Provincial Assembly (MPAs).

On the occasion, Imran Khan said that preparations were completed for the vote of confidence of the Punjab Chief Minister and they will not be afraid of the conspiracies.

Khan ordered the PTI leaders to complete the number of lawmakers. He added that the political party will hold the vote of confidence if it gets an order from the court. The PTI chief said that they are fully prepared for the trust vote and they will not be afraid of conspiracies. = DNA
