Cabinet to take up issue of extradition of Abdul Qadir to UK

ISLAMABAD, Jan 01 (DNA): Prime Minister Imran Khan has summoned a
meeting of the Federal Cabinet on January 4 to discuss the extradition
of Abdul Qadir Ehsan.

During the meeting to be held under the chairmanship of PM Imran Khan, a
summary for extradition of accused Abdul Qadir Ehsan to UK will be
presented.

During the meeting, the political and economic situation of the country
will be reviewed and a briefing on EVM and Coronavirus situation will be
given.

A summary for the extradition of accused Abdul Qadir Ehsan from Pakistan
to UK will be presented in the meeting by the interior ministry. A
summary of the establishment of the National Institute of Intelligence
and Security Studies will also be presented in the cabinet meeting.

It is also proposed to set up a National Institute of Intelligence and
Security Studies at Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad. Approval of
the appointment of the Chairman of Karachi Port Trust for two years is
also on the agenda.

Approval of Pakistan Tobacco Board s notification, appointment of 3
members in Pakistan Board of Statistics is on the cabinet’s agenda. DNA
