ISLAMABAD, AUG 31 /DNA/ – M. AkramFarid, Chairman Founder Group Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry, said that the Group will traditionally clean sweep the Chamber’s forthcoming elections with land sliding margin. Continuous and consecutive victory of the group for over two decades speaks of quality of services rendered to business community, Mr. Farid said. He was addressing during the inaugural ceremony of the Election Offices for 2021-22 elections in Blue Area and I-9 Sector of Islamabad. The meeting was attended by a large number of members and candidates for Associate and Corporate Membership.
M. AkramFarid said that Islamabad Chamber has built spacious Building, Exhibition Hall, infrastructure facilities and a state of the art Auditorium. The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry has become a business hub for the region as well as for the country as a whole, he added. The Chairman apprised that the Chamber has established separate facilitation desks for ICT administration, FBR, Police, Pakistan Customs and FTO to help out its members in resolving their issues with these departments. Capital Development Authority (CDA) has allowed the manufacturing sector four additional trades including Information Technology. Moreover the floor area of industrial plots was increased, that will enhance business activity, he added.
The Chairman Founder Group said that the Group has always come up with enterprising, energetic and competent candidates. It is our endeavor to nominate young entrepreneurs for leading the business community in accordance with contemporary business community needs. MianAkramFarid called for the members to vote for the candidates of the Founder Group in the best business community interest.

The Founder Group announced its candidates for the forthcoming elections for the year 2021-22. HamayunKabir, Chaudhry Javed Iqbal, Sheikh Muhammad Ejaz, Fahad Farid, ShahbazMajeed Sheikh, Amir Hussain, Muhammad UmerRiaz and Muhammad Azhar-ul-Islam Zafar were nominated for CM Class. While Akhtar Hussain, Muhammad Shabbir, Chaudhry Muhammad Ali, Muhammad Fahim Khan, Jamshed Akhtar Sheikh, Khalid Mehmood, Raja Muhammad Imtiaz andFasihullah Khan were nominated for the AM Class as well.
Co-Chairman Founder Group Election CompaignEjaz Abbas and Amir Waheed Sheikh, in their concluding remarks, said that the group has resolved many issues with CDA and other Government Departments and showed his commitment to leave no stone unturned for serving the business community at large.
