Imran Khan: Pakistan must move forward with caution

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan has gone down. Pakistan was among the first countries to understand the way to control the virus. We implemented a smart lockdown as we realised that lockdown was not an option for us. He is currently addressing the nation.

On July 26, 2020, Pakistan’s death toll from COVID-19 was the lowest in three months, the PM remarked. “I am very pleased to announce that the pressure that was there on our hospitals has considerably decreased.”

The steps taken by Pakistan have helped the country control the number of coronavirus cases,  he said. “We still have challenges and we need to proceed with caution.”
