He added: Commander Soleimani was striving for peace and security for all the nations of the region. He was seeking to provide security, stability and peace for all by fighting terrorists. There were no differences in this path between Shiites and Sunnis, Christians, Kurds, Turkmen, Izadis and so on. Even a foreign official praised the commander for supporting Syrian Christians. For Martyr Qassem Soleimani, humanity and human lives mattered most. He was martyred for the sake of serving and sacrificing for humanity and providing human rights, the most obvious of which is security and the right to life.

The Iranian ambassador to Pakistan said: General Soleimani was successful in defeating the US and the Zionist regime in achieving their development goals in the region and in Islamic countries.

Referring to the faithfulness and steadfastness of the martyr Soleimani in his covenant with God, he said: “Haj Qassem did not go astray in the path of righteousness all the time and never backed down. He was true to his covenant, word, and demeanor, and there was no change in the course of his faith, but the difficulties of his path added more value and strength to his faith.”

Hosseini added: During his life, Soleimani was a man of faith and good deeds. He enjoyed unparalleled popularity among the people of the region because of his divine popularity. The United States and its allies never imagined that the Martyrdom of General Soleimani would have such a broad impact in Islamic countries.

He emphasized: General Soleimani has advanced and developed the principle of resistance against bullying, oppressors and Imperialism into a culture throughout the region. This culture was derived from the verses of the Qur’an and the school of the Prophet’s (pbuh). Qassem Soleimani was a symbol and master of this culture. He is a role model for all freedom-seekers in the world, both Muslim and non-Muslim. You can be confident that martyr Soleimani is stronger than Soleimani (when he was alive). Since Martyrdom gave him an eternal success and impact.

The Iranian ambassador said various terrorist groups have been seeking to assassinate Soleimani in recent years, but have failed. What the terrorist groups like ISIS and the likes of it failed to do, was done by the most evil people on earth.

Referring to the de-escalation in the region, he said: “This is an issue that is being raised by European and other countries these days. However, Iran has never been and will not be in pursuit of tension. Iran, for example, has been 100 percent committed to its commitments under the nuclear deal and has been fully in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency. Even Europe and the US have acknowledged it”.

Hosseini added: “The crusading side that led to further tensions was the American regime and the Trump administration. He went out of the nuclear deal and destroyed it. Then, he imposed illegal and inhumane sanctions against Iran, and launched an economic terrorism against our nation.
