ISPR warns against ‘fake security threats’

RAWALPINDI, (DNA) – The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued a public service message today (May 11) stating that rumors about threat alerts in different cities are baseless. No such alerts were circulated by ISPR.According to ISPR, such propaganda is an attempt to create confusion and distrust among people.DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor requested citizens not to be a “source of misinformation or assistance to terrorists”.

ISPR alerted that citizens should refrain from spreading such fake news. “Such news can be confirmed from ISPR official website”, ISPR added.
